High school students come to ���������������� each summer for the School of Music's Percussion Camp.

The ���������������� alumni family grew by nearly 1,200 new graduates as the university held its summer commencement ceremonies. The accomplishments of the Summer Class of 2023 were recognized with outdoor commencement ceremonies on Aug. 19.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has appointed Lara Boman of Ashland, Ohio, to a two-year term as a Graduate Student Trustee of the ���������������� Board of Trustees.

���������������� Paris American Academy will not be open for students for fall 2023, but the program will resume operations in Paris, France, in January 2024. The students who registered for fall 2023 classes at the Paris American Academy can attend the New York City Fashion campus or ���������������� Florence in Italy. 

Teachers from northeast Ohio and from thousands of miles away in sub-Saharan Africa have been learning to create inexpensive math teaching tools thanks to the efforts of some ���������������� professors.

Honors College ranked high when graduate Josh Budd was deciding whether to attend ���������������� because it offered him a challenging experience through its thesis programs and its education-abroad program. Studying abroad helped him develop more empathy and connection with people of backgrounds different from his own. 

As Ohio’s Aug. 8 special election approaches, it’s important for students to know that polling places across the state will only accept a valid photo ID, such as an Ohio driver’s license, to vote.

���������������� is hosting 39 international graduate students for the Fulbright Pre-Academic Program, a monthlong immersion in American higher education and culture.
