¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ’s Exploratory Program in University College has been awarded two prestigious national awards for its work with exploratory students.

¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ School of Fashion to Induct Kenneth Cole Into Hall of Fame
The visionary global fashion designer and activist Kenneth Cole is named as the ¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ School of Fashion’s 2021 Hall of Fame Inductee. In its 32nd year, the prestigious award celebrates the outstanding contribution to fashion made by an individual. The accolade honors the unique qualities of their leadership.

¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ Awarded $3.5 Million Choose Ohio First Grants
The state of Ohio and the Ohio Department of Higher Education announced that ¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ has been awarded Choose Ohio First grants totaling $3.5 million to support students in the critical fields of science (including health professions), technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ Retirees Association Gives Back to the Community
Similar to graduating students who become alumni, retired ¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ faculty and staff wish to stay connected to the university. These employees care about the institution and the ¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ community, and they want to see it thrive. One way retired ¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ community members stay informed is through the ¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ Retirees Association (KSURA), an organization of more than 800 retired ¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ faculty and staff committed to improving university life.

¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ Names Manfred van Dulmen as University’s Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Division of Graduate Studies
¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ Senior Vice President and Provost Melody Tankersley, Ph.D., announced the selection of Manfred van Dulmen, Ph.D., to serve as the university’s associate provost for academic affairs and dean of the Division of Graduate Studies, effective April 16.

U.S. News & World Report ranks ¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ in the top 20 Best Library and Information Studies Programs in the country in its 2022 edition of Best Graduate Schools. Overall, ¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ is recognized in 12 new national rankings in the 2022 edition of Best Graduate Schools, including three specialty rankings.

School of Theatre and Dance Ranked in Top 50 of Best Theatre Bachelor's Degrees by Study.com
¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ's School of Theatre and Dance is ranked #50 on Study.com's list of Best Theatre Bachelor's Degree programs in the United States. In addition to this national ranking, the School of Theatre and Dance is one of only two theatre programs from the state of Ohio on the list. In its rankings, Study.com assesses hundreds of universities across the country and selected ¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ based on academic and career resources, the quality of education, faculty, and more.

Shot in the Arm: Community, University Members Receive Vaccine at Field House Event
More than 2,000 area residents, including some ¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ employees, received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine March 23, during a mass vaccination event at the ¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ Field House.
