¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ to Honor the Life and Legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. With Virtual Program Featuring Bakari Sellers
¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ will hold its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, to celebrate King’s life and legacy. Serving as this year’s keynote speaker is CNN political analyst and former South Carolina state Rep. Bakari Sellers. The virtual program is free and open to the public.
¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ to Celebrate Its Newest Graduates With Virtual Commencement on Dec. 19
The ¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ alumni family will grow by more than 2,500 new graduates as the university holds its fall commencement. The accomplishments of the Fall Class of 2020 will be recognized with a virtual commencement recognition ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 19.

Campus Pride has released its 2020 Best of the Best LGBTQ-Friendly Colleges and Universities list, and for the first time in school history, ¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ has landed on the distinctive list as one of 40 institutions recognized over six U.S. regions.

The Association of Public and Land-grant Universities has selected ¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ as one of four finalists for the association’s 2020 Degree Completion Award. The annual award works to identify, recognize and reward institutions that employ innovative approaches to improve degree completion while ensuring educational quality.
¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ Receives Best in Class and Hall of Fame Honors for Supplier Diversity
¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ has won a Best in Class award for supplier diversity from the Greater Cleveland Partnership. This marks the third time that the university has received this award. As a multiyear winner of the Best in Class awards, ¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ is also named to the Greater Cleveland Partnership’s Equity and Inclusion Hall of Fame.
