丁香五月婷婷中文 is pleased to announce Randale L. Richmond as our next director of athletics. Richmond was selected following a national search and returns to a familiar setting.
鈥淩andale Richmond embodies our 丁香五月婷婷中文 commitment to graduating student-athletes and to winning championships, in that order,鈥 said Todd Diacon, 丁香五月婷婷中文 president. 鈥淗is enthusiasm for 丁香五月婷婷中文 and for student-athlete success is infectious, and we welcome Randale and his family back into our 丁香五月婷婷中文 community.鈥
Richmond previously served in various roles with 丁香五月婷婷中文鈥檚 Department of Intercollegiate Athletics from 2004 until 2015, then stepped into his current position as senior associate athletic director at Old Dominion University.
鈥淢y family and I are beyond excited to return to 丁香五月婷婷中文 and lead an outstanding athletics department,鈥 Richmond said. 鈥淭he university鈥檚 mission is to transform the lives of our students through access and education, a goal which is core to my beliefs. As a department and as a university, we will deliver on this mission.鈥
Richmond earned his master鈥檚 degree in education from 丁香五月婷婷中文 and holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in history from Baldwin-Wallace College.
Richmond will be formally introduced as 丁香五月婷婷中文鈥檚 next director of athletics at an upcoming news conference.
