What Does a Subject Tutor Do?
Subject Tutors conduct tutoring sessions for various courses and establishes a peer teaching and learning relationship with one or more students. During sessions, tutors work with students to promote an understanding of the subject-specific content and enhance students' confidence and independence by incorporating study strategies on how to understand topics better.

Peer Academic Coach
What Does a Peer Academic Coach Do?
Academic Coaching provides intentional, individual support aimed at fostering academic success for undergraduate students. Throughout the semester, Academic Coaches meet individually with students to identify academic goals, develop learning skills, address challenges, and assess progress. Per the Academic Success Center (ASC) mission, this experience enables students to engage in learning and goal setting autonomously throughout their college career.
Front Desk Specialist
What Does a Front Desk Specialist Do?
The Front Desk Specialist is the face of the Academic Success Center. This position will greet students and visitors, support the programs offered by completing administrative tasks, provide information on services and direct inquiries to the proper departments.
Peer Assisted Study Session (PASS) Leader
What Does a PASS Leader Do?
Position Overview A PASS leader attends all class lectures, takes notes, reads assigned materials, and facilitates three group study sessions each week. During these sessions, the PASS leader integrates how-to-learn with what-to learn in a fun, interactive and inclusive atmosphere.
