David Hassler, director of ¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ’s Wick Poetry Center, attended a meeting of poetry organizations from across the U.S. at the Lannan Foundation in Santa Fe, New Mexico, from Nov. 5-7. The meeting addressed how the organizations can make poetry more visible, as well as how to garner new supporters for the art form. The meeting was organized by the Academy of American Poets with assistance from the University of Arizona Poetry Center and the Wick Poetry Center at ¶¡ÏãÎåÔÂæÃæÃÖÐÎÄ, and generous support from the Lannan Foundation.
